Speculations 01

The Teutonic Knights are technically still around, though apparently, evidently, completely diminished in power.

Are they?

Speculation: maybe they've moved on from war and state into something invisible but actual. Stripped by Napoleon, outlawed by Hitler (both, ostensibly, probably not really, agents of real revolution), they seem to only diminish and diminish over time, like the Freemasons. At the same time we know that the trend of power has been to recede its true throne from view, and, where even 10 years ago an average person at least maybe knew the general direction to point in, now we've lost the thread to power entirely in a murky fog of "misinformation", distraction, and virtual realities presented before us. Possibly, if the Teutonic Knights' real tradition is one that traces power and not its form, they have followed this ball lightning through its many forms to keep a hold upon it in real-time, and are now involved in holdings that outline the true shape of our civilization's power structures (e.g. whatever the "state" or "church" or "company" at its height currently is (maybe it's company, actually. you might be in the seat of power and never know, and all the better if so)).

Something else we know is that power is traceable in hindsight. When "states" as a unit were coming into being as real organizational principles of power, they might not have been realized to be such by most people - those fighting for them sure would have, Knights and Kings and Dukes included, then. We can look back and see the gradual shift from city-states to bureaucracies to states (invented by Germans?) through time, but in real-time maybe the unit of true power wasn't so obvious, at least while forming.

Maybe the Teutonic Order is connected to AI companies, through family ties?

Either way, I think by this point the fog is so thick that we're in the realm of speculation; we've reached a line past which we're unable to say they have lost power or they have kept power, they are name-only or have true secret power. Perhaps this is too speculative for my very limited amount of knowledge. But the ease of speculation is sort of the point. What can apply, work, for the common person today to wrangle such speculation?

Say we were to want to, naturally, find some way, some unit, to trace power stably across the centuries, all the centuries we have any information for, in order to reliably point to where real power lies at any given time (in other words, to Make Power Overt Again, bring it back into the light in this new era where it's farthest from it). This unit would have to be some measure of power abstracted from its specific time - multiple levels of abstraction to level each so extremely different and incomparable era (in other words, to compare apples and oranges against some commonality of their being "fruit") along one measure. Not to find which state is the most powerful, but which type of entity represents power in some objectively measurable way (and maybe that would just be a family or several - but that's like saying it all goes back to Source, man; but we don't want the One, we want the Three, or the One's tool). This measure couldn't be (or could it be?) land, or cash, or other assets, or some once-derived value from those - but maybe several levels derived.

I think one thing that's true is that the discovery of new "old" information will no longer work, as a principle. To discover an old version of the Bible could have changed the world. To discover an old record could have changed any history. The future changing the past. It's not that those things mightn't be true, but that it can no longer have any effect. It will be like throwing a twig into an already burning pyre. It simply won't do anything.

I think this is due to the devaluation on information. Maybe I'm wrong and we have to hyperfocus upon a narrow field and find the threads only in there. But if I'm not wrong, then what I would say is that, crudely, we have all the information we're going to have. We're not getting any more information. At the infinite explosion of information is precisely when information has ended. If it has become infinite it has vanished.

The ultimate point of this speculation is that the knowledge of where power is, or of power at all, is not going to come from new information - it wouldn't even matter if that information were true because it exists in a medium, not a vacuum, and is subject to the same laws as the world it exists in, i.e. to irrelevancy (and it makes sense, as people have long said we're "post-truth"). Knowledge of where power is would have to come from some completely derived measure, a measure that itself means nothing and speaks to nothing, but which was abstracted from actuality several times, perhaps across the number of all the dimensions we want to compare and level. Only nonsensical math, nonreal math, will be able to provide new, created information.

How? How is that true? Because the only thing in our mental world (noosphere) that works now, or that's active now, I should say, is processing quantities of information beyond the human mind, with the aid, of course, of computing. In some sense maybe AI is just the democratization (potentially) of that. I don't want to be its evangelist but even in daily life you can tell its use is to process and sort volumes of information impossible and nonsensical for one person to without the aid of that "car" (analogous to driving long distances, only in another dimension).  We have miles, we have oil, we have 0s and 1s.

New math means the formation of new laws, and now is the effluence of new realms of math. I think nonreal math - math that can't be validated by man, because those solutions are reached by a volume of computations beyond human mental capability - will create new measures to look at society through, which may seem nonsensical in the sense of being illogical (maybe logic itself will change, so it's not surprising that it feels like a "return of magic", which is basically shortcuts, instantaneity, or even a nonlinear, illogical understanding of time (instantaneous just as easily as curses lying dormant and/or immobile for generations). I guess at 37 I have finally glimpsed the use of derivatives, and maybe should at last try studying higher math.
